Travel Options

Naturally the quickest travel option is by air and we are reasonably local to 5 airports. All the budget airlines, some holiday tour operators, and some national carriers have services to one or more of these airports. Increasingly guests are preferring to travel by car (a more flexible and, for some, a more economic alternative) in order to take advantage of our "offroad" offer. We can be reached by road in 2 days.

Ferry crossings to France - Calais, Le Harve, St Malo.
Mini-cruises to Spain (1 or 2 nights depending on route) - Bilbao or Santander.
Main routes from France are either Paris/Barcelona or Bordeaux/Madrid, and for the ports of Bilbao and Santander via Madrid.

The nearest railway stations are Granada (for routes via Madrid) or Lorca (for routes via Barcelona). Both Madrid and Barcelona may be reached from London by Eurostar to Paris and then by TQV direct to Madrid or Barcelona. Overnight sleeper cabins are available on both routes. RNFE local services run between Madrid and Granada, and Barcelona and Lorca. Again, we can assist with route planning - please ask.
